****************************************************************************** BSW Electronic Mail 02-Dec-2002 09:10:03 CET Message Number 0154 ****************************************************************************** Author: Guenter Stangl Subject: New_GIM_problems Subject: GIM new format problems Graz, 2002-11-05 Using the global ionosphere models of week 1191 I experienced some problems: - The time string TO EPOCH was invalid, containing control characters - The BSW didn't use the models The reason was that the line 'TO EPOCH ...' was blank, by adding a valid end time all models have been accepted I didn't further look into the problem, in GETGIM.f the switch of reading the time string (IY2.NE.0) seems to be ok. May be there will be somewhere else a string produced of IONDEV(6,*) or IONDEV(6,*) has somehow to be initialized. My BSW 4.2 is running under RH Linux 7.1 and was compiled with g77. If there is a solution, please, let me know, because it's awkward to edit 100 models every week!
