****************************************************************************** BSW Electronic Mail 01-Mar-2000 17:10:01 CET Message Number 0100 ****************************************************************************** Author: BSW Team Subject: Bug in UPHEAD Dear users of the Bernese GPS Software, we have found some bugs in the subroutine UPHEAD which handles the update of the header of the observation files after deleteting resp. marking of observations in the programs SERVOBS resp. SATMRK. If you use the satellite problem file to delete observations in a time window which does not corresponds to the session definition it can occur an ambiguity mismatch. To prevent this you should replace this subroutine with an updated one. You can get it from our anonymous ftp: host ubecx.unibe.ch login anonymous passwd [your e-mail] directory (depending on your operating system) cd aiub/BERN42/SOURCE/DOS cd aiub/BERN42/SOURCE/UNIX cd aiub/BERN42/SOURCE/VMS transfer mode ascii command get UPHEAD.f (for UNIX) get UPHEAD.for (for DOS and VMS) This new version of this subroutine has to be copied into the directory .../LIB/GPSLIB42/FOR of your source code. You has to compile and link this update using UNIX: CLGPSL UPHEAD CMAIN SATMRK CMENU SERVOBS DOS/VMS: CLGPSL UPHEAD LKMAIN SATMRK LKMENU SERVOBS We appologize for any unconveniences caused by this error.
