Author: BSW Team Subject: ANTEX v1.3 converter and software update Dear BSW Users, A new version of the ANTEX converter was already announced, see BSW Mails 0216 and 0221 (see http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/php/bswindex.php). After a series of tests and improvements the converter is now available together with a detailed readme file that describes the converter and its options as well as the steps to be followed to eventually switch to absolute antenna phase patterns. http://www.aiub.unibe.ch/download/BSWUSER/TXT/ANTEX_README.pdf A new BSW release 27-Jun-2006 is available that includes - ANTEX converter PHCCNV improvements and bug fixes - ADDNEQ2 options concerning the use of radome codes - additional ADDNEQ2 improvements and bug fixes - corrected sign of the relativistic correction in the equation of satellite motion. The last correction affects orbit estimation by changing the orbit scale by 0.4 ppb. The effect on the terrestrial scale is negligible. For usual applications, fitting of precise orbit information, the bug has no effect and can be neglected for double-difference as well as point positioning applications. For a detailed list of bug fixes and improvements see http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/support.html Find the instructions on how to implement the new BSW software update in BSW Mail #215 (http://www.aiub.unibe.ch/download/bswmail/bswmail.0215) or at http://www.bernese.unibe.ch/support.html. We hope that the new converter helps you to smoothly switch to absolute antenna phase patterns. In case of problems or questions do not hesitate to contact us. With best regards The BSW Team
