From david.a.stowers at jpl.nasa.gov Thu Aug 2 08:58:51 2012 From: david.a.stowers at jpl.nasa.gov (Stowers, David A (3350)) Date: Thu, 2 Aug 2012 15:58:51 +0000 Subject: [IGSSTATION-5037] GODE/GODZ antenna LNA failure Message-ID: Author: Dave Stowers Dear Colleagues, Please be advised that after a very long service interval, a portion of the choke ring antenna providing signal to sites GODE and GODZ has been determined to have failed. As this site was undergoing an in-situ dome calibration period, the failed LNA is being replaced and the antenna will be then returned to it's mount with no other modifications so that the calibration can hopefully continue. The expected repair is scheduled for completion next Wednesday. Please also note that two new deep drilled braced monuments have been installed on-site (GODN/GODS) as will be announced in a separate message. Data from these monuments is available at CDDIS.
