From J.Beavan at gns.cri.nz Wed Oct 27 16:16:41 2010 From: J.Beavan at gns.cri.nz (John Beavan) Date: Thu, 28 Oct 2010 12:16:41 +1300 Subject: [IGSSTATION-4093] FALE (Samoa) upgraded Message-ID: Author: John Beavan We have upgraded the FALE station in Samoa to use internet communications with a Trimble NetRS receiver and Zepyhr Geodetic antenna. The change took place at 02:50 UT on 22 October 2010 (day 295). An updated site log has been sent to the IGS. >From now, 30-second rinex data will be uploaded hourly to IGS data centers. 1-second data is also stored locally and can be downloaded in case of an event. We operated a Trimble 5700/Zephyr Geodetic on a nearby mark (~1.8 km baseline) for about 3 days before and 3 days after the FALE exchange. These data may be useful for calibrating any offset in the time series. The calibration data are available on request. (The final 3 weeks of data, days 274-294, from the old FALE receiver are not yet available in IGS data centers, but they should be uploaded withiin the next couple of weeks.)
