SOFTWARE: The weighted average software used was developed by T. Springer and G. Beutler during 1993. The GPS long arc orbit analysis software used here for individual centre ephemeris evaluation was developed by Beutler et al. at the Astronomical Institute of the University of Bern (AIUB). For more details on the orbit combination and complete references for both software see: Beutler, Kouba, Springer, 1993, Combining orbits of the IGS processing centres, in IGS Analysis Centre Workshop, October 12-14, Ottawa, pp 19-55. PRODUCTS GENERATED: The resulting average ephemeris and clocks are output to daily files in SP3 format. The satellite accuracy codes displayed in the header are based on the weighted RMS for each satellite. Note that each file contains all the satellites that appear in any of the centre ephemeris files. If a satellite or centre was excluded from combination, a note in the REMARKS section of this report will identify the exclusion and the reason. The Rapid Service Orbit files generated and uploaded into CDDIS @ NASA/GSFC are: IGS07380-6.SP3 IGS GPS ephemeris files for days 0-6, week 0738 in SP3 format. IGS07387.ERP Earth rotation parameters (ERP) associated with ephemerides. IGS07387.SUM Complete report. REMARKS on IGS Rapid Service Orbit Combination: 1. Starting with week 0730, the above satellite clock corrections combination was put in place. The centres used in the combination are EMR, ESA, GFZ and JPL. The other centres are excluded because they either provide broadcast clocks (COD) or clock corrections are not provided (NGS & SIO). The clock information not used is still compared to combination for completeness. 2. Only the GFZ "exact" clock corrections (one epoch out of two) are included in the combination and RMS computation (no "interpolation" values). 3. Station ALGO had a large (~ 242000 ns) clock error from day 0 to day 5 (Feb 27 - March 4) which caused the large clock offset for GFZ and JPL. 4. Broadcast clock corrections for PRN03 show late acknowledgment of clock resets every day of the week. Consequently, PRN03 broadcast clock corrections were excluded from the initial alignment of centre clock solutions. 5. JPL clock solution was excluded from combination for day 1 (Feb 28) due to very large clock shifts ( several microsec.). 6. EMR clock solution was excluded from combination for day 2 (March 1) due to unusually large RMS (~ 100 ns). 7. ESA clock solutions were excluded from combination on days 2 to 4 (March 1-3) due to large outliers for PRN13 on day 2 and 3 and to unusually large RMS (~ 100 nanosec.) on day 4. 8. There was a maneuvre of PRN27 on day 4 (March 3) (ref. NANU 066-94062). The ESA solution which modeled the maneuvre is provided for that satellite on that day as the combined solution. An associated accuracy code of 0 (unknown) was given since there was no redundancy. The NGS and SIO solutions for PRN27 on the day of maneuvre were excluded from combination based on the assumption that they are extrapolation instead of actual modeling. 9. PRN28 had very few data collected for the first 5 days of the week (until March 3). Although ESA provides solution for every day of the week, since no data are reported for this satellite for days 1 to 3 (Feb 28 to March 2), PRN28 was excluded from combination. PRN28 should therefore be used with caution. 10.State vector resets were modeled in the long arc process for PRN23 on day 5 (March 4) and for PRN27 on day 4 (March 3).
