Dr. Dach has been working on the Satellite Geodesy Research Group at AIUB since 1999, where he got involved in the activities and development of the Center for Orbit Determination in Europe (CODE) Analysis Center. In September 2006, he became the successor of Prof. Urs Hugentobler as the head of the group. He received the venia docendi (Habilitation) for fundal astronomy as Faculty of natural sciences of the University of Bern in 2011, and the title of Assoziierter Professor in 2019. In the context of his scientific work at AIUB, he represents CODE in several IGS working groups, being elected in 2015 as an Analysis Center representative and member of the IGS Executive Committee. He also represents the IGS in the IERS Directing Board. Dr. Dach term as Vice chair of the Governing Board is effective at the end of the IGS Workshop next week. Similarly, we would like to acknowledge the appointments of: * Dr. Jianghui Geng (Wuhan University, China) as the new PPP-AR Working Group Chair. Dr. Geng takes over Dr. Simon Banville effective immediately, who served in the PPP-AR position since 2018. * Ms. Ashley Santiago (Raytheon, USA), as the new Governing Board Executive Secretary. Ms. Santiago takes over Dr. Oyola-Merced effective immediately, who served as GB Executive Secretary since 2019. * Dr. Mayra Oyola-Merced (NASA JPL, transitioning to the University of Wisconsin ? Madison, USA) as the Chair of the newly created GNSS For Weather and Climate Resiliency Pilot Project, effective immediately. Finally, we would like to thank the members of the Standing Election Committee for their hard work and support during this transition period, as well as Dr. Simon Banville for his dedication and service to the PPP-AR WG and other multiple IGS committees.
