From jake.griffiths at noaa.gov Mon Sep 30 07:46:40 2013 From: jake.griffiths at noaa.gov (Jake Griffiths - NOAA Federal) Date: Mon, 30 Sep 2013 10:46:40 -0400 Subject: [IGSMAIL-6826] IGS products to continue during a shutdown of the U.S. Government Message-ID: <52498ED0.2090003@noaa.gov> Author: Analysis Coordinator Dear IGS Colleagues, The U.S. Government may shutdown at 00:00:00 (EDT), October 1, 2013. While many parts of the NOAA/National Geodetic Survey will close and services will be unavailable during a shutdown, the generation of IGS orbit and clock products should continue as usual throughout the furlough. IGS products are delivered directly to the CDDIS, IGN, KASI and SOPAC data centers, so there should be no interruption in service. For more information about how to obtain the IGS products, please refer to the IGS Central Bureau website (http://igscb.jpl.nasa.gov/components/prods.html). In cases of emergency, please contact me (at igs.acc @ noaa.gov). Otherwise, non-emergency issues will be handled when the U.S. Government re-opens.
