From jake.griffiths at noaa.gov Fri Jul 26 05:37:12 2013 From: jake.griffiths at noaa.gov (Jake Griffiths - NOAA Federal) Date: Fri, 26 Jul 2013 08:37:12 -0400 Subject: [IGSMAIL-6801] Update on IGS timescale & resubmission of IGS Rapid Combination (IGR): 1750 3 In-Reply-To: <51F155CF.7050704@noaa.gov> References: <51F155CF.7050704@noaa.gov> Message-ID: <60FC8B03-9548-4FE8-ADB5-521AD04B757B@noaa.gov> Author: Analysis Center Coordinator Dear Colleagues, While the AC equipment at U.S. NRL is still under repair, our colleagues there have managed to cool the timescale server rooms with large fans. We believe this temporary solution will manage the room temperature as the AC equipment is repaired, and so the timescale processes can resume. Thus, the product files: igr17503.clk igr17503.cls igr17503.sp3 were replaced using the clock products re-aligned to the IGS Rapid timescale. The clock differences between all satellites and stations within each epoch are identical with the old clock products and therefore precise point positioning results and other purely geodetic applications will not be affected by this change. Only the timescale of the clocks is affected. The Final products will be released later today with the clocks aligned to the IGS Final timescale, as usual.
