The old version (2.4.2) of RNX2CRX crushes if more than 9 data types are contained in RINEX files. It is caused by a primitive error in the source code for handling of continuation of "# / TYPES OF OBSERV" lines. The same bug is in the CRX2RNX, too. The bug does not have any influence if number of the data types is less than 10. The bug-fixed version (2.4.3) of the software is now available from following address: ftp://terras.gsi.go.jp/pub/software/RNXCMP_2.4.3/ It have been tested on LINUX, HP-UX11.00, SUN Solaris. 5.6, and Windows 95/98/XP, so far. Source codes are also avairable so that users can compile them if the binaries for other OS are needed. (See docs/README for more detail on the compilation). I apporogize for troubles you may have for the bug. Best Regards, Yuki P.S. Accomodation of the compression format and programs for RINEX version 3.0 is now under the developement. ------------------------------------------------- HATANAKA,Yuki, Geographical Survey Institute e-mail : hata at gsi-mc.go.jp -------------------------------------------------
